Since 2015, we at Lovea have not stopped working and refreshing our products for you. Relentlessly making the Best Real Thing even better ... Durian Coffee.

We are proud to continuously impress you because Lovea believes in a brighter future.

It all began with a little spark just to make our coffee more delicious, infused with our beloved king of fruits. We did not expect this to ignite into an explosive enterprise ... evolving from durian coffee, to a breakfast beverage, and to a premium village boy coffee.

It has been a truly magical journey for us which we hope will last forever. Every cuppa which you savour, continues to spur us on each day.

Take the essential morning beverage and fuse it with the King of all fruits, and you get Durian coffee! After trying more than 40 types of durian infused coffee, the men behind Love A Durian White Coffee really gave their right arm to make their durian coffee “Nothing, but the real thing”.

Managing Director of Love A Durian, Benson Wong, joins us on the show today to share with us the story behind establishing a new category of ‘Malaysian Breakfast Coffee’, along with the creative branding strategy they have engineered to stay ahead of the spiky game.

Milestones

Times flies and more memories created, and Love A Durian is now celebrating its 8th anniversary. I remember clearly how we boldly begun, we used a 3D durian print as the packaging and bravely launched a single product relying only social media and word-of-mouth.

We feel so blessed to reach this milestone because we were fortunate to have met our biggest Inspiration and our Coffee Lovers, YOU! It is you who continuously spurred us on this unending quest to improve and extend our product family.

So many people have now tasted our Durian White Coffee, Breakfast brown rice coffee and Village Boy 鄉下仔 micro-ground black coffee. There is no stopping us now because of You and because this is the real thing.

This was not imaginable when we folded our first 3D-Durian packaging box in Dec 2015.Reflecting back, the challenges and doubters at our humble beginnings were so overwhelming, and made everything seem impossible. Inspired by You #Lovea Lovers, we confronted the Impossibles head-on by actually doing the Impossibles. We launched one product after another slowly. We traveled to one country after another. We served more and more thousands of coffee lovers. And we will continue marching forward stronger at 4 years old. Lovea Australia making the Impossible Possible!

Breaking down barriers, Love A Durian Macau & Hong Kong exploded out of Malaysia in 2017. We naively traveled to foreign shores bringing along our colourful 3D Durian fruit king boxes without a shame. We answered the embarrassments and laughter by serving more and even more coffee to coffee lovers' lips. We are growing simultaneously upstream and downstream by supplying grade A fresh fruit, Musang king ice cream to Lovea Cookies! When it is The Real Thing, it cannot be stopped. Thanks to your amazing continuous support and passion, Love A Durian Sabah, Love A Durian Sarawak Love A Durian Korea , Lovea China, Love A Durian Taiwan 諾唯雅, Lovea Australia leap frogged from 20k to 100k to 600K, and it is now impossible to stop The Real Thing from hitting a Million. On this post pandemic new journey, we have embarked on the Lovea X, X stands for the none food segment. We have launched our very first Lovea Organic Fertilizer on the 12.12.2022. This products is synchronize with our pillar on sustainable initiative.

The use of organic fertilizers, has advantage of improving soil structure, texture and aeration increasing the soils water retention abilities and stimulating healthy root development.

Some organic based fertilizers reduce the environmental impacts of farming and safeguard surrounding ecosystems. Organic based fertilizers are sources of organic carbon, which enhances fertilizer efficiency through an intelligent, slow release of nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus.

Lovea Organic Fertilizers also knows as the enhanced bio-compost, is packed in 900 gram per pack. It is 100% pure natural ingredients with balanced nutrient. It also helps to unlock P and K in the soil for root bio-uptake

Malaysia durian is known as the King of Fruits. The fruits hail from durian trees that take a min 7-10 years to mature. When durian fruits are ripe, they fall on the surrounded nets and is ready for harvest and consumption. Our durian plantation cultivated variety of durians namely Musang King D197, D24, Kim Hong, D2 , Xo and many more. The main exporter of D197 Musang King flesh has bitter sweet, creamier and complex taste which is unrivaled and truly a unique taste for all durian Lovers. Some westerner think is like a creamer banana texture-with blue cheese complex flavor- and gas leak aroma. For Lovea's clients, you can enjoy fresh Malaysia durian from farm harvested, packed and transported to your door step around 18-21 hours via air freight; to you and all other destination in Asean++ countries.
